Ken Pruitt Hates Personal Responsibility

The Buzz:

Senate President Ken Pruitt: “Today's announcement just confirms the important fact that we cannot continue to rely on home sales and construction to fuel Florida's economy . It’s why we are working hard to diversify our revenue base and attract high tech businesses to Florida. We are in a painful transition period, and it's going to mean some tough fiscal decisions in the short term in order to keep our state fiscally sound."

Hmmm... I wonder who it is that is behind the diversification of our revenue base? I wonder who it was behind arbitrarily cutting our revenue base during a time of fiscal crisis? I wonder who undercut the education system in Florida so that we don't have enough workers qualified to work in the high tech industries that aren't coming to Florida? It wasn't Pruitt alone, but he certainly didn't help the situation.

will someone please take a look at all the soft money pruitt is swimming in.the state of florida has been a cash cow for him and the party, shouldnt that cast some degree of curiosity as to just where his loyalties are?he will leave a much richer man than when he started his political life, take a wild guess at what his occupation will be after departing the senate, after all, as many times as a cloud has hung over his head, it always just goes away without any real investigation, tom lee let him off one after a one day look into a few,27 or 28 items that came up about him a few years ago, this guy is a little bit like another republican out of texas by the first name of tom, nobody is even asking any questions. he will walk away a very rich man politics have been very very good for ken.
